By accessing this website and/or booking services with Silks and Shadows Photography, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using this site or scheduling any photography services.

1. Services Offered

Silks and Shadows Photography offers professional photography services including, but not limited to, portrait, lifestyle, creative, and event photography. Services are available by appointment only and subject to availability.

2. Booking & Payments

  • A non-refundable retainer may be required to secure a session date.

  • Full payment is typically due by the day of the session unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your session.

  • Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date one time, based on availability.

  • If you are late or do not show, your session may be shortened or canceled without refund.

4. Image Rights & Usage

  • All images taken by Silks and Shadows Photography remain the copyrighted property of the photographer.

  • Clients receive a license for personal use only, such as posting on social media or printing for personal enjoyment.

  • Commercial use, resale, or modification of images is not permitted without written permission.

  • Photographer reserves the right to use photos for promotional purposes, including website, social media, and portfolio, unless the client opts out in writing prior to the session.

5. Digital Delivery & Turnaround

  • Final edited images will be delivered via online gallery or download link within 14 business days of the session.

  • No unedited (“RAW”) images will be provided.

  • Final image count may vary based on session conditions and client cooperation.

6. Client Conduct

Clients are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly during all shoots. We reserve the right to end any session due to inappropriate, unsafe, or uncooperative behavior—without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

While every reasonable effort will be made to produce high-quality images, the photographer is not liable for:

  • Lost or damaged images due to equipment failure or unforeseeable issues

  • Missed shots due to subject unavailability or uncooperative conditions

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or photography services

8. Privacy

Any personal information provided through this site or in communication with Silks and Shadows Photography will be handled according to our Privacy Policy, and will never be sold or shared without consent.

9. Website Use

  • All content on this site is the property of Silks and Shadows Photography.

  • You may not copy, screenshot, or reuse content without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee (or your actual state). Any disputes will be resolved under its jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the site or services implies agreement to the current version.
